IT Support Engineer – Managed Security Service Provider

About the role

Join a fast‑growing Managed Security Service Provider in Farnham as an IT Support Engineer. You will work across a blended mix of service‑desk tickets, project delivery and on‑site field visits, supporting a Microsoft‑centric environment for around 60 clients and 300 end users.

Key responsibilities

• Resolve 1st and 2nd line support tickets via the Halo PSA platform, adhering to SLA targets.
• Administer and troubleshoot Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint and Intune.
• Monitor and manage endpoints using NinjaRMM and ensure backup health with Acronis.
• Diagnose networking issues involving routers, firewalls and switches.
• Perform on‑site break‑fix visits and support field engineering tasks.
• Contribute to projects such as Microsoft 365 migrations, Azure deployments and infrastructure upgrades.
• Assist with security activities including patching, vulnerability management and endpoint protection.

Required profile

• Previous experience in an MSP or MSSP support environment.
• Strong technical grounding in Microsoft 365, Entra ID and Azure.
• Hands‑on experience with PSA/RMM tools (Halo, NinjaRMM or similar).
• Solid networking troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and a genuine enjoyment of varied, hands‑on work.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a personal vehicle.
