IT Support Services Technician

About the role

As an IT Support Services Technician at Percepta, you will be the first point of contact for end‑users across the United Kingdom, delivering high‑quality technical assistance and ensuring a smooth IT environment. The role blends hands‑on hardware work with service‑desk responsibilities in a fast‑paced corporate setting.

Key responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support via phone, ticketing system and chat.
• Log, document and track incidents in ServiceNow or equivalent tools.
• Perform daily operational checks and monitor system performance before production hours.
• Set up, image, upgrade, repair and relocate PCs and related hardware.
• Manage user access, ID creation and application permissions.
• Participate in on‑call rotation and escalate complex issues appropriately.
• Maintain asset records and support IT administrative tasks as directed by the IT Manager.

Required profile

• Associate degree or equivalent work experience in IT.
• CompTIA A+ (desirable) and CompTIA Network+ (desirable).
• Mid‑level experience in a Help Desk or desktop support environment, preferably corporate or call‑centre.
• Hands‑on experience with basic network troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with Azure, AWS and telephony troubleshooting.
• Experience using ticketing platforms, preferably ServiceNow.
