IT Support Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an IT Support Specialist to join a growing helpdesk team within a well‑established IT solutions provider. The role involves delivering first, second and third line support to business customers while working primarily remotely with occasional days in our Cambridge office.

Key responsibilities

• Provide 1st, 2nd and 3rd line technical support to business customers as part of a growing helpdesk team.
• Troubleshoot client and server issues, including escalated and complex technical problems.
• Administer Microsoft 365 services such as Azure AD, SharePoint, Exchange and Intune.
• Perform ad‑hoc duties and assist with project work as required.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years’ experience working for a Microsoft‑focused Managed Service Provider.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Hands‑on experience with all aspects of Microsoft 365; certifications are a plus.
• Solid knowledge of Windows operating systems at both server and client levels.
• Understanding of virtualization technologies.
• Basic networking knowledge with experience troubleshooting routers, switches and firewalls.
