IT Support Technician – 1st/2nd Line – South Croydon

About the role
We are looking for an IT Technician to provide first and second line support for a leading school in South Croydon. The role combines remote service‑desk work with on‑site assistance, offering training and clear progression pathways.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver 1st and 2nd line IT support to staff and students.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software and network issues.
- Install, configure and deploy computers and peripherals.
- Work remotely via the service desk and face‑to‑face on site in Ilford.
Required profile
- Proven experience in IT support roles.
- Hands‑on experience with hardware and software installation, configuration and deployment.
- Good understanding of networking concepts.
- Experience in the education sector is a plus but not essential.
Required skills
- Hardware troubleshooting and installation.
- Software installation and configuration.
- Network knowledge and basic troubleshooting.
