IT Support Technician – First Line Support

About the role

Our IT Support team ensures that technology runs smoothly for the business, translating colleague and customer needs into reliable solutions. You will work closely with the Technology and Security teams to deliver first‑line support and maintain a secure, efficient IT environment.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for IT queries via phone, email or ticketing system.
• Provide hardware, software and network support for desktops, laptops, printers and mobile devices.
• Install, configure and maintain standard applications and operating systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic technical issues within agreed SLAs.
• Escalate unresolved problems to Level 2/3 support teams.
• Maintain accurate records of support requests and resolutions.
• Manage user accounts (password resets, access permissions) and support onboarding of new employees.
• Follow IT policies, procedures and security best practices.

Required profile

• Recent IT support experience in a busy office environment.
• Proven track record supporting PCs, laptops, printers and other peripherals.
• Experience supporting Microsoft Windows 10 and Windows 11.
• Customer‑focused and approachable attitude.
