IT Support Trainee (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic IT Support Trainee to join our team on a home‑based basis. This entry‑level position offers a great opportunity to start a career in IT support, providing hands‑on experience with a variety of hardware and software environments.

Key responsibilities

• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues reported by end‑users.
• Install and configure computer systems, applications and peripherals.
• Provide technical assistance and guidance to users remotely.
• Maintain and update IT equipment, ensuring optimal performance.
• Monitor system performance, security alerts and implement backup and recovery procedures.
• Assist with routine network troubleshooting and basic administration tasks.
• Document support tickets, resolutions and maintain accurate records.

Required profile

• No prior experience required; a genuine passion for IT and a desire to develop technical support skills.
• Strong problem‑solving attitude and willingness to learn.
• Good communication skills for interacting with users.
