IT Systems and Support Engineer

About the role

Synthesia is looking for an Apple‑focused IT professional who can blend hands‑on support with systems engineering. You will help keep our global SaaS platform reliable, secure, and scalable while working in a high‑growth, remote‑first environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, maintain, and scale IT infrastructure across multiple SaaS and endpoint systems.
• Lead advanced troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis for incidents affecting end users or core services.
• Automate repetitive IT workflows such as onboarding, access provisioning, and asset management.
• Create and maintain comprehensive IT documentation for transparency and knowledge sharing.
• Implement configuration baselines and compliance controls to meet security and audit requirements.
• Partner with Security, People, and Engineering teams to improve efficiency and reliability.
• Mentor junior engineers and support upskilling within the IT Ops team.
• Research and propose new tools or automation opportunities to enhance employee experience.

Required profile

• 6+ years of experience in IT administration, systems engineering, or infrastructure operations.
• Hands‑on experience with identity platforms (Okta, Azure AD) and device management/endpoint compliance.
• Experience implementing IT controls aligned with SOC2 and/or ISO27001.
• Proficiency in writing or modifying automation scripts (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Strong ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues across systems, networks, and SaaS environments.
• Excellent documentation and process‑management habits.
