IT Systems Engineer – DV Clearance Eligible

About the role

We are seeking an IT Systems Engineer to join a leading maritime and satellite technology provider. The role is based in Redhill and works within Ministry of Defence (MOD) teams to keep critical systems reliable and stable.

Key responsibilities

• Provide deep technical support for complex system issues, including software defects and network faults.
• Assist the contracts team by clarifying technical requirements and ensuring contractual obligations are met.
• Contribute technical expertise to project delivery and bid activities.
• Support high‑severity incidents escalated from the NOC, focusing on system degradation and major service incidents.

Required profile

• Eligibility for Developed Vetting (DV) security clearance.
• Hands‑on experience with Cisco networking technologies.
• Experience with Juniper or Fortinet environments (Juniper preferred).
• Comfortable working with minimal direct customer interaction while collaborating with NOC, project and contracts teams.
