IT Technical Services Manager

About the role

The IT Technical Services Manager will act as the technical authority and trusted advisor for a portfolio of enterprise customers. This senior, customer‑facing role blends technical leadership, service governance and executive engagement to deliver measurable business value and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and senior stakeholders.
• Lead Quarterly Business Reviews and technical governance meetings.
• Develop technology roadmaps and Service Improvement Plans.
• Provide technical leadership during major incidents and change management activities.
• Manage technical risks and ensure services align with business objectives.
• Support projects, operational delivery and service optimisation.
• Promote security, compliance and best practice across customer environments.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a customer‑facing technical leadership role.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Broad enterprise IT knowledge across cloud, infrastructure, networking, Microsoft technologies and managed services.
• Experience with ITIL processes, incident, problem, change and risk management.
• Ability to work across multiple technical teams and third‑party suppliers.

What we offer

• Salary £55,000‑£60,000 per year plus bonus and car allowance
