IT Technician – First Line Support (Permanent, South London)

About the role

We are looking for an IT Technician to join our growing team in South London. As the first point of contact for all IT queries, you will deliver prompt, friendly support while also contributing to key technology projects across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line support for users, handling tickets and ensuring timely resolution.
• Manage user onboarding and off‑boarding, including account creation, device provisioning and access rights.
• Maintain the IT asset register, tracking laptops, mobiles, software licences and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, escalating complex cases when necessary.
• Liaise with third‑party suppliers and coordinate equipment redeployment.
• Monitor device usage, perform security checks and assess system performance.
• Support IT projects, continuous‑improvement initiatives and occasional site visits.
• Assist with stock control for IT equipment and keep documentation up to date.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a 1st‑line IT support or help‑desk role.
• Strong troubleshooting abilities and a customer‑focused attitude.
• Organised, detail‑oriented and capable of managing asset documentation.
• Proactive, team‑oriented mindset with good communication skills.

Required skills

• Familiarity with Microsoft environments (Windows, Office 365, Azure AD).
• Experience using help‑desk ticketing systems.
