IT Technician – IT Support

About the role

We are looking for an IT Technician to join the IT team at Express Solicitors. The successful candidate will help keep the firm’s IT infrastructure running smoothly and provide first‑line support to staff across our Manchester headquarters and occasional visits to the Liverpool branch.

Key responsibilities

• Administer in‑house software and maintain a comprehensive asset register.
• Provide desktop support and troubleshoot Windows 10 environments.
• Support printers, scanners, mobile devices and the company telecoms system.
• Maintain and support security systems linked to the network.
• Assist with occasional travel to the Liverpool office for on‑site support.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 months experience in IT support (two years preferred).
• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and common troubleshooting.
• Understanding of network infrastructure, hardware and peripherals.
• Analytical problem‑solving and ability to prioritise tickets.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Familiarity with Proclaim case management or Eclipse is a distinct advantage.
• Experience with IP telephone systems such as RingCe.
