Java/Kotlin Software Engineer – AVP – Developer Enablement

About the role

Citi is looking for an enthusiastic server‑side engineer to join the Developer Enablement team within the Chief Technology Office. You will help build and enhance internal platforms that boost productivity for thousands of engineers across the bank.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement features for the SDLC Automation greenfield project, including AI‑driven workflow improvements.
• Contribute to the Release on Demand (RoD) platform, automating production run‑books and ServiceNow change requests.
• Collaborate with small, agile teams to ship internal tools quickly while maintaining quality and compliance.
• Drive automation initiatives that translate into significant time and cost savings for the organisation.

• Strong passion for building reliable server‑side applications.
• Ability to work in a fast‑moving, startup‑like environment inside a global bank.
