Jewellery Technician

About the role
We are seeking a Jewellery Technician to join an established organisation that provides hallmarking and assay services. The role involves processing, assessing and hallmarking jewellery items while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Key responsibilities
- Process and prepare goods for assay and hallmarking in line with internal procedures.
- Assess and assay articles according to established guidelines.
- Apply hallmarks to jewellery items as required.
- Maintain clean and orderly work stations.
- Carry out remedial work on jewellery products when needed.
- Meet deadlines, prioritize workload and support continuous improvement of processes.
Required profile
- Ability to form excellent working relationships with team members.
- Computer literate.
- High level of manual dexterity.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Capable of handling a varied day‑to‑day workload and meeting deadlines.
