Joinery Estimator – Bespoke Woodwork Projects

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Estimator with a joinery or interior woodworking background to join a family‑run manufacturer in Morley, Leeds. You will own the full commercial lifecycle of bespoke joinery projects, from the first enquiry through to final account settlement.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accurate estimates and quotations for bespoke joinery and woodworking projects.
• Interpret client drawings, specifications and design information.
• Calculate material quantities, labour requirements and supplier costs.
• Price machine‑shop work, bench joinery, finishing and polishing hours.
• Manage variations, additional works and maintain commercial project records.
• Prepare and agree final accounts at project completion.
• Liaise with clients, architects, designers, suppliers and internal teams.
• Collaborate closely with production, project management and senior leadership.

Required profile

• Experience as an estimator in joinery, woodworking, furniture, shop‑fitting or fit‑out projects.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong understanding of materials, labour, manufacturing methods and supplier pricing.
• Commercially aware with experience pricing variations and final accounts.
• Confident communicator with clients, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
