Jointer – Electrical Distribution Networks

About the role

E.ON is seeking a permanent Jointer to join its Utility Solutions team. Based in Sleaford with regular travel, you will work on street lighting and electrical distribution projects across the East Midlands.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out mains and service cable jointing on DNO and IDNO networks.
• Supervise and mentor Jointers Mates and apprentices.
• Drive general and specialist vehicles appropriate to the role.
• Hold and use relevant DNO/IDNO authorisations for 3‑phase distribution networks.
• Perform risk assessments and ensure safe working practices.
• Maintain compliance with HSSE policies and company quality standards.

Required profile

• Recognised Electrical Apprenticeship or equivalent street‑lighting/LV services training.
• C&G 236 Parts 1 & 2 qualification (or equivalent) with extensive trade experience.
• 18th Edition BS 7671 wiring regulations qualification.
• Full G39 qualification and current NRSWA accreditation.
• Current First Aid and Manual Handling certificates.
• Relevant authorisation to work on DNO/IDNO networks.
