Junior Accountant

About the role

Welltower is seeking a Junior Accountant to support the accounting and financial reporting for its UK‑based partnerships and operator relationships. Based in Central London, the role acts as a key liaison between the London operations and the U.S. accounting teams, ensuring accurate and timely financial data across entities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the flow of financial information between UK partners/operators and internal/external stakeholders.
• Perform monthly data uploads, reconciliations and prepare workpapers for partnership accounting.
• Consolidate operator data for financial and non‑financial reporting and performance analysis.
• Produce partnership financial statements in accordance with relevant standards.
• Calculate and process monthly distributions to UK business partners.
• Assist with tax data compilation, compliance and audit support.
• Review monthly operator submissions, investigate variances and resolve auditor queries.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of experience in public accounting or corporate finance/accounting.
• Detail‑oriented with strong understanding of financial statements, internal controls and multi‑entity reporting.
• Currently pursuing or holding a recognised accounting qualification.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross‑functional, cross‑border environment.
• Based in or willing to work in Central London (office‑based role).
