About the role
We are seeking a motivated Junior Accounts Clerk to join our well‑established freight forwarding business in Ashford. The role offers an entry‑level opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in accounts processing within a dynamic logistics environment.
Key responsibilities
- Process and post supplier invoices accurately.
- Match incoming payments to invoices and reconcile discrepancies.
- Perform routine administration duties such as filing and record keeping.
- Respond to internal and external queries regarding invoices and payments.
- Assist customers with basic account‑related questions.
Required profile
- Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Good organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Clear written and verbal communication.
- Interest in developing a career in finance or logistics.
