Junior Buyer – Procurement

About the role

We are seeking a Junior Buyer to join the Procurement team at Hain Celestial. In this role you will support sourcing and management of suppliers for raw materials, packaging and other essential goods, helping to deliver quality products at best value.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of spend under guidance of Senior Buyers.
• Conduct market research to understand cost drivers and trends.
• Build supplier knowledge, profiles and contingency plans.
• Support budget pricing and contribute to quarterly reviews.
• Identify and help deliver cost‑saving opportunities.
• Research and evaluate potential suppliers, maintaining supplier databases.
• Assist in supplier performance tracking, issue resolution and demand forecasting.
• Support negotiations on pricing and terms to stay within budget.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a procurement or buying role, preferably in FMCG, retail or manufacturing.
• Understanding of procurement processes and supplier management.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships.
• Proactive, organised and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Basic negotiation skills with a commercial mindset.

Required skills

• Good knowledge of Excel.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications.
• Experience with procurement systems (preferred).
