Junior Buyer – Retail Gifts & Gadgets

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Junior Buyer to join the buying team at the head office in Dorking. You will be responsible for sourcing novelty gifts and gadgets, negotiating with suppliers and supporting the buying administrator.

Key responsibilities

• Source and purchase product across assigned categories for all sales channels.
• Negotiate terms and prices with suppliers and monitor market trends.
• Attend trade shows to identify new product opportunities.
• Manage the Buying Administrator and oversee the dropship range.
• Maintain competitive analysis and product performance reporting.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Junior Buyer, Assistant Buyer or Buying Administrator.
• Solid understanding of buying processes and commercial acumen.
• Strong market awareness and organisational abilities.
• Excellent communication skills.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
