Junior Clinical Fellow – Cannabis-Based Medicines

About the role

We are seeking a Junior Clinical Fellow to join our London team and work at the forefront of cannabis‑based medicines. This 12‑month fixed‑term position offers a blend of onsite and remote work, allowing you to deliver personalised care to patients with complex conditions while developing expertise in an emerging specialty.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct clinical reviews via video call throughout the patient journey.
• Prescribe and tailor cannabis‑based medicines to individual needs.
• Provide expert guidance on treatment options to patients and support teams.
• Check and review prescriptions for safety and accuracy.
• Answer complex clinical queries and support external teams.
• Maintain accurate patient records in line with GMC standards.
• Deliver education and training on cannabis‑based medicines to patients, clinicians and staff.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary colleagues to streamline processes and improve outcomes.

Required profile

• Registered medical practitioner with a full GMC licence.
• Completion of Foundation Year 2 (F2) or equivalent clinical experience, including a GP or A&E placement.
• Experience working in a clinical setting.
• Willingness to undergo specialised training in cannabis‑based medicines if not already knowledgeable.
• Clear communicator across clinical and non‑clinical settings.
• Strong time‑management and problem‑solving abilities.
• Highly organised and detail‑oriented.
