Junior Developer – Power Platform & AI

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic and proactive Junior Developer to join our Change Development team in Leek Wootton. The role focuses on Microsoft Power Platform and AI Agent development, delivering new and improved software solutions for Warwickshire Police.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, test and document new and amended software solutions in line with high‑level designs and standards.
• Create and review solution designs, perform data‑flow analysis and mappings for agentic AI and Power Platform projects.
• Plan and execute unit and system testing, taking remedial action and providing full technical documentation.
• Implement solutions into live operation following ITIL change‑control processes and provide ongoing support.
• Act as a consulting developer, gathering business requirements, analysing data and recommending options.
• Collaborate with stakeholder groups and drive continuous improvement and innovation.
• Represent Warwickshire Police and the Digital Transformation Department in internal and external meetings.

• Ability to understand strategic business requirements and work collaboratively with stakeholders.
• Commercial awareness and a focus on service versus cost.

What we offer

• Permanent full‑time contract (Grade E) with a salary range £33,603 – £39,276 per annum.
