Junior Driver's Mate – Temp to Perm

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Junior Driver's Mate to join our growing logistics team on a temporary‑to‑permanent basis. This role offers hands‑on experience delivering, positioning and installing high‑value equipment for a variety of customers, providing a solid foundation for a long‑term career in transport and logistics.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with deliveries, installations and collections of customer equipment.
• Load and unload vehicles, checking that items are secure and ready for transit.
• Support the positioning and installation of equipment at customer sites.
• Carry out manual handling duties safely, including lifting and moving equipment.
• Complete delivery documentation, timesheets and job‑related paperwork accurately.
• Obtain proof of delivery or collection where required.
• Maintain high standards of health, safety and customer service.
• Provide additional support to the wider team as needed.

Required profile

• Positive attitude with a strong work ethic.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility regarding working hours, including occasional early starts or late finishes.
• Ability to complete paperwork accurately and efficiently.
• Proactive, can‑do approach to work.
