Junior Electrical Field Service Engineer – £30k-£32k + Van

About the role

We are seeking a Junior Field Service Engineer with an electrical background to join a market‑leading water utility services company in Wolverhampton. The role offers full in‑house training, a company van for personal use and the chance to work on a local patch within a one‑hour radius of your home.

Key responsibilities

• Service, repair and monitor water‑utility equipment on customer sites.
• Perform door‑to‑door visits covering a defined local area.
• Respond to weekend and Sunday overtime, paid at 1.5× and 2× the standard rate.
• Maintain accurate service records and report any issues to the team.

Required profile

• Junior‑level experience or training in electrical engineering or related field.
• Willingness to undertake on‑the‑job training and external electrical courses.
• Ability to work Monday‑Friday, 8:00 am‑5:00 pm, and occasional overtime.
• Residence within a one‑hour travel radius of Wolverhampton.

Required skills

• Electrical systems knowledge.
• Maintenance and troubleshooting of water‑utility equipment.
• Use of diagnostic tools and testing equipment.
