About the role
We are looking for a Junior Electrical Fitter/Cable Jointer to join a leading high‑voltage power infrastructure provider. This training‑focused position offers a clear pathway into high‑voltage cable installation, maintenance and repair.
Key responsibilities
- Install, construct, maintain and repair high‑voltage cables, switchgear and automation equipment.
- Inspect and service distribution network assets, private switchgear sites, transformers and actuators.
- Perform field service duties Monday‑Thursday 8am‑4pm and Friday 8am‑3:30pm, with overtime as required.
Required profile
- Recent Level 3 apprenticeship or relevant degree in electrical fitting or cable jointing.
- Valid UK driving licence.
- Willingness to work on‑site in the North East England region.
