About the role
We are seeking a Junior Estimator to join a growing construction business in Caterham. The role offers a pathway into estimating, with full training for trainees and the chance to develop a long‑term career in the sector.
Key responsibilities
- Review tender enquiries, drawings and specifications.
- Prepare detailed estimates and pricing documentation.
- Attend site visits when required.
- Liaise with internal teams throughout the tender process.
- Assist with tender submissions and cost analysis.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and suppliers.
Required profile
- Excellent numerical and organisational abilities.
- Highly detail‑oriented.
- Strong IT proficiency, especially Microsoft Excel.
- Eagerness to learn (for trainee candidates) or prior estimating experience in construction or a related field.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
