Junior Facility Maintenance Technician (Electrical)

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Facility Maintenance Technician with an electrical focus to join a fast‑growing, multi‑disciplinary property services provider in Cambridge. You will work on a variety of commercial and residential projects, gaining hands‑on experience in installations, maintenance and renewable energy systems.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out electrical installations, maintenance and reactive repairs across a 45‑minute Cambridge patch.
• Perform PAT testing, fault finding and diagnostics on commercial and residential assets.
• Assist with rewiring projects and support solar and EV‑charging installations.
• Collaborate closely with the Electrical Team Lead and other departments to ensure compliance and safety.
• Participate in specialist training for commercial and renewables projects.

Required profile

• Junior Electrical Engineer holding a 2391 inspection qualification and an 18th Edition certification.
• Willingness to travel to sites within 45 minutes of Cambridge.
• Motivation to develop skills in commercial, residential and renewable electrical work.
