About the role
This is a junior, hands‑on position with a global OEM, offering structured training to become a technical specialist on advanced machine tools. You will work within a supportive, collaborative environment and develop expertise across mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.
Key responsibilities
- Perform routine planned maintenance on machine tools and associated equipment.
- Assist senior engineers on service calls and troubleshooting tasks.
- Document maintenance activities and report any issues to the technical team.
- Participate in training sessions at dedicated facilities and on‑the‑job mentorship programmes.
Required profile
- HNC/HND qualification or a graduate degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Apprenticeship/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent engineering experience.
- Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.
- Full UK driving licence.
