Junior Field Service Engineer (Machine Tools)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Junior Field Service Engineer to join a global Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) in Bristol. You will receive world‑class training and develop into a hands‑on technical expert on machine tools, supporting customers on‑site and building a solid engineering career.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and rectify machine breakdowns and technical faults.
• Perform routine service and maintenance on machine tools and associated equipment.
• Train customers in safe operation, maintenance procedures, and best practices.
• Promote consumable sales and maintenance contracts.
• Support sales of machine tools and related equipment.

Required profile

• Engineering qualification (HNC or Degree) in a relevant discipline.
• Hands‑on, mechanically competent with a good understanding of electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical, hydraulic and mechanical drawings.
• Strong interest in developing a technical career within a global OEM.
