Junior Full Stack Engineer

About the role

We are partnering with a fast‑growing FinTech company that is building a next‑generation platform for pricing, monitoring and analysing complex investment products in real time. As a Junior Full Stack Engineer you will join an experienced engineering team, working on both backend services and frontend applications while gaining hands‑on experience with modern cloud‑native technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new features using TypeScript, Node.js, React and Next.js.
• Design, build and consume RESTful APIs.
• Work with SQL databases and cloud‑hosted applications.
• Support the development of scalable backend services.
• Collaborate with senior engineers on technical design and implementation.
• Write clean, maintainable and well‑tested code.
• Participate in code reviews, Agile ceremonies and CI/CD pipelines.
• Continuously learn modern cloud technologies and best engineering practices.

Required profile

• Commercial experience (or placement/internship) using TypeScript.
• Practical experience with React.
• Exposure to Node.js and REST APIs.
• Understanding of SQL databases.
• Proficiency with Git.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and a genuine passion for software engineering.
• Excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn.
