Junior ICT Consultant

About the role

Turn IT On is seeking a Junior ICT Consultant to support one of its schools in Salisbury. You will maintain the school’s IT hardware and services, helping to improve ICT provision for effective teaching and learning.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and repair computers, iPads, printers, scanners, projectors, PA and AV equipment across multiple school sites.
• Install and update software and networking applications on all devices.
• Provide first‑line and second‑line technical support to staff and students.
• Manage customer accounts and communicate service updates.
• Identify and resolve technical issues that affect school operations.

Required profile

• At least 2 years’ experience in ICT technician or 2nd‑line support, preferably in education.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to explain technical issues in plain language.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
