Junior Installer & Finishing Technician (Trainee)

About the role
Our client, an interior design studio, is bringing its installation work in‑house and is looking for a motivated Junior Installer & Finishing Technician. The role combines studio‑based quality control with on‑site installation of curtain systems, offering a varied and hands‑on experience.
Key responsibilities
- Inspect and quality‑check every order in the studio before dispatch.
- Install curtain tracks, poles, blinds and curtains at client properties.
- Travel to client sites independently, adhering to schedules and safety standards.
- Collaborate with senior contractors during the training period and gradually take ownership of projects.
- Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are safe and ready for use.
Required profile
- Practical and detail‑oriented with a strong eye for finishing quality.
- Confident when interacting with clients on‑site.
- Self‑sufficient, problem‑solver and a reliable team player.
- Valid driver’s licence and ability to travel to client locations.
