Junior IT Support Engineer – 1st/2nd Line Support

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Junior IT Support Engineer to join a friendly, growing IT team in Bishop's Stortford. This full‑time permanent position offers a great chance to develop your technical skills while providing first‑ and second‑line support to a commercial environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide 1st and 2nd line support to end‑users, troubleshooting hardware, software and network issues.
• Support Microsoft 365 and Windows environments, including device configuration and user account management.
• Set up and configure laptops, PCs and mobile devices.
• Log, update and resolve support tickets in the ticketing system.
• Assist with IT projects and system improvement initiatives.
• Deliver excellent customer service across the business.

Required profile

• Commercial IT support experience (1st or 2nd line).
• Experience with Microsoft 365 and Windows.
• Strong communication and customer‑service skills.
• Passion for technology and a desire to grow professionally.
• CompTIA A+ certification or studying towards it is highly desirable.
