Junior IT Support Engineer – Entry Level

About the role

Ward & Burke are seeking a motivated Junior IT Support Engineer to join their growing IT team. You will provide day‑to‑day technical assistance to UK users, work on device deployments and help maintain reliable IT services across office and site environments.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line support to end‑users via phone, email and in‑person.
• Configure and deploy PCs using Microsoft Intune for new and existing staff.
• Assist with network setup and maintenance, including routers, switches and wireless access points.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software and network issues promptly.
• Deliver basic training on Microsoft 365, SharePoint and other company tools.
• Collaborate with the wider IT team to ensure seamless operations.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, IT, Information Systems or a related field.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Analytical mindset with solid problem‑solving abilities.
• Team‑player who can work effectively with colleagues.
• Full driving licence and access to a car for site visits.
