Junior IT Support Engineer

About the role

The Junior IT Support Engineer will provide proactive monitoring, maintenance and first‑line support for IT requests received via email, phone or ticketing system. The role involves working closely with site‑based IT contacts, creating documentation and occasionally providing out‑of‑hours assistance.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and resolve incoming IT support tickets and requests.
• Collaborate with on‑site IT contacts to train and advise staff.
• Create and maintain support documentation to improve user experience.
• Provide occasional out‑of‑hours support as needed.
• Assist the Group IT Manager with ad‑hoc projects and requests.

Required profile

• Proven experience supporting complex, heterogeneous networks.
• Ability to support users at all levels, including VIPs, and manage expectations.
• Track record of delivering technically challenging projects.
• Willingness to develop skills in‑house with clear progression goals.
