Junior Litigation Solicitor (PQE 1+) – Essex

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Litigation Solicitor with at least one year of post‑qualification experience to join our growing team in Essex. This junior position offers exposure to a diverse portfolio of commercial and civil litigation matters, providing a solid foundation for career progression.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Head of Litigation in managing a mixed caseload of commercial and civil disputes.
• Conduct research, draft pleadings, and support case preparation across property, landlord‑tenant, employment, probate and commercial matters.
• Develop and eventually lead your own files, handling client communications and court appearances.
• Collaborate with senior solicitors to ensure high‑quality, client‑focused advice.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year PQE with a genuine interest in property litigation.
• Strong understanding of general litigation processes.
• Attention to detail and ability to produce accurate legal documentation.
• Commitment to upholding the firm’s reputation for high‑quality client service.
