Junior Market Intelligence Analyst – ESA Programme

About the role

The Junior Professional in Market Intelligence joins ESA’s Market and Business Intelligence Section within the Future Programmes Division. You will work on market analysis, financial assessment and socioeconomic impact studies that support the Directorate of Resilience, Navigation and Connectivity.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and analyse market and business information on satellite connectivity, telecommunications and related vertical sectors.
• Identify trends, opportunities and threats in the European and global space economy.
• Produce regular market evolution reports and detailed segment‑level analyses.
• Maintain and enhance the RNC Market Intelligence toolsets.
• Support systematic collection of market data and train users on internal BI processes.
• Suggest and evaluate business analysis tools, including natural language processing (NLP) techniques.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., economics, engineering, business).
• Up to 3 years of professional experience after graduation.
• Strong analytical mindset with an interest in the space and telecommunications sectors.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
