Junior .NET Software Engineer

About the role

Stonebridge is looking for an aspiring Junior Software Engineer to join the Revolution platform team. You will work with modern Microsoft technologies in an Agile, collaborative environment, helping to build and enhance mortgage broker software.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver new features from design through deployment.
• Participate in technical design discussions focusing on scalability, performance and maintainability.
• Write clean, secure code and take part in code reviews.
• Analyse issues, propose solutions and fix bugs with guidance from senior developers.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with testers, support teams and end‑users.
• Contribute to Agile ceremonies such as stand‑ups, sprint planning and retrospectives.
• Maintain clear technical documentation.

Required profile

• 1+ year of commercial experience with the Microsoft stack.
• Curious, proactive and eager to learn.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Interest in unit testing and writing maintainable code.
