Junior Penetration Tester

About the Role

As a Junior Penetration Tester, you will work across diverse sectors including government, defense, critical infrastructure, healthcare, and banking, providing you with an unparalleled environment to accelerate your career.

Main Missions

• Conduct end-to-end penetration tests on web applications and network infrastructures.
• Manage the full engagement lifecycle: from initial client contact and scoping to technical execution and post-engagement follow-up.
• Collaborate with senior experts (CHECK Team Members and Leaders) to ensure high-quality security assessments.
• Produce high-quality technical documentation, including detailed penetration testing reports and client proposals.
• Participate in client communications, including requirement gathering, scoping meetings, and technical debriefings.
• Contribute to internal quality assurance processes and follow structured industry methodologies.

Profile Required

• Proven passion for cybersecurity and ethical hacking.
• Ability to hold or be eligible for UK Security Clearance.
• Strong analytical skills and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
• Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work effectively within a highly collaborative team environment.

Required Skills

• Hands-on experience in Web Application and Infrastructure testing.
• Proficiency in structured penetration testing methodologies.
• Technical report writing and documentation.
• Client relationship management and scoping skills.
• Certification: Hack The Box CPTS or OffSec OSCP is required.
