Junior Product Specialist

About the role

Our client, a leading supplier of home textiles to the retail sector, is looking for a Junior Product Specialist to support product development and critical‑path activities. This hybrid role is ideal for a recent graduate or a buying administrator ready to take the next step in their career.

Key responsibilities

• Request quotations, maintain costing records and liaise with suppliers on specifications, MOQs, timelines and artwork approvals.
• Create and update product development specification sheets under the guidance of Product Developers.
• Coordinate sample requests, track deliveries, manage approvals, and maintain physical sample libraries.
• Maintain product libraries, shared drives and internal databases, ensuring data accuracy and version control.
• Support artwork review processes, chase approvals and ensure documentation is complete.
• Assist in sustainability initiatives by driving improvements in sustainable components.

Required profile

• Graduate or early‑career professional with an interest in buying, product development or supply chain.
• Strong organisational and communication skills, with attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external suppliers.
• Motivation to support sustainability targets.
