Junior Production Coordinator

About the role

The Junior Production Coordinator will schedule and coordinate the manufacture of high‑performance electronic products from release through to completion, ensuring maximum performance and minimum delay. You will work with capacity‑scheduling systems, forecast resource overloads and understand manufacturing routes while collaborating with production, purchasing, sales and project teams.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in production planning meetings and review orders to identify component due dates.
• Plan and schedule each production department according to established sequences and lead times.
• Proactively address material shortages with Purchasing and track improvement dates.
• Maintain and communicate production and customer schedules, resource planners and related reports.
• Update the ERP system to reflect changes in the production schedule.
• Liaise with Stores to prioritise production kit issuing and attend stand‑up meetings to report planning activities.

Required profile

• Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills.
• Strong organisational ability, attention to detail and time‑management.
• High initiative, ability to work independently and thrive under pressure.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and collaborative problem‑solving.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel for reporting and data analysis.
• Proficiency in using ERP systems to update production schedules.
