Junior Property Manager

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Junior Property Manager to join our growing team in Colchester. This entry‑level position offers comprehensive training and the chance to develop a career in residential property management within a supportive estate agency.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with day‑to‑day management of a residential property portfolio.
• Liaise with landlords, tenants and contractors via phone and email.
• Coordinate maintenance issues from initial report through to completion.
• Arrange contractor visits, obtain quotations and oversee works.
• Support tenancy renewals and end‑of‑tenancy processes.
• Maintain up‑to‑date compliance documentation.
• Keep accurate records using property management software.
• Provide outstanding customer service to landlords and tenants.
• Learn relevant legislation and industry best practice.

Required profile

• Some experience in estate agency, lettings, property administration or customer service.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail.
• Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn.
• Ability to prioritise a busy workload.
• Positive, professional and customer‑focused approach.
