Junior Ready-to-Wear Designer

About the role

Mulberry is seeking a Junior Ready‑to‑Wear (RTW) Designer to join its women’s design team. You will support the creation of new collections, contributing fresh ideas and research to help shape the brand’s seasonal direction.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct library and market research to identify emerging trends, materials and treatments.
• Assist in preparing design presentations, mood boards and seasonal inspiration packs.
• Develop new design concepts for the RTW collection, experimenting with techniques, materials and colour palettes.
• Collaborate with senior designers, production teams and suppliers on colour, fabric, prints and garment details.
• Produce accurate specification sheets, sketches and CAD drawings for suppliers.
• Coordinate prototype development, attend fit sessions and support design revisions.
• Ensure sustainable design principles are integrated throughout the process.

Required profile

• Recent graduate or early‑career professional with a passion for fashion design.
• Strong visual and three‑dimensional design sensibility.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced, creative environment.
• Commitment to Mulberry’s values of honesty, dynamism and community spirit.

Required skills

• Proficiency in CAD for fashion design.
