Junior Recruitment Consultant

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Recruitment Consultant to join our specialist tech recruitment team in Tyneside. You will be trained on every stage of the recruitment cycle, supporting senior consultants while building your own client and candidate portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Develop relationships with candidates, understand their career goals and guide them through the hiring process.
• Source high‑quality talent using LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, networking and referrals.
• Create engaging job adverts and outreach campaigns.
• Conduct candidate interviews, manage the recruitment workflow and coordinate interview schedules.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive outreach.
• Build long‑term partnerships with UK‑based technology clients.
• Negotiate salaries and offers, ensuring a win‑win outcome for client and candidate.
• Achieve personal and team targets while developing expertise in a chosen technology market.
