Junior Research Equity Strategist

About the role

The Junior Research Equity Strategist will support Citi's global equity research franchise by analysing financial markets, producing research reports and building financial models. You will work closely with senior researchers and collaborate with colleagues worldwide to deliver insightful investment analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Provide analysis of global financial markets and write research reports.
• Maintain and create financial databases and quantitative models.
• Assist investors and internal Citi teams with bespoke analysis and data requests.
• Collaborate with Citi Research colleagues across regions.
• Originate, research and write analysis of global investment themes.
• Communicate Citi's investment advice to external clients and internal stakeholders.
• Assess risk and ensure compliance with laws, regulations and internal policies.

Required profile

• Demonstrated background in financial markets through early‑career roles or relevant coursework.
• Clear and effective written and spoken communication.
• Methodical approach with strong organisational capabilities.
• Good interpersonal skills and a proven team player.
• Positive attitude, drive and initiative.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
