Junior Service Engineer – CNC Machines (Training Provided)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Service Engineer to join a leading CNC machine OEM. The role is field‑based, covering customer sites across the UK and offering extensive training at a state‑of‑the‑art facility in Spain.

Key responsibilities

• Travel to customer locations within a 3‑hour radius of your home base.
• Service, maintain, repair and install advanced CNC lathes.
• Diagnose and resolve faults in control systems, pneumatic and hydraulic actuators.
• Participate in funded training courses covering controls programming, commissioning and more.
• Support international subsidiaries in Europe and America when required.

Required profile

• Junior or aspiring Service Engineer with a foundation in mechanical and electrical maintenance.
• Relevant qualification such as NVQ, HNC, HND or equivalent.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to work away from home.
• Ability to work a 40‑hour week with time‑in‑lieu for overtime.
