Junior Service Engineer (Full Product Training)

About the role

We are looking for a Junior/Trainee Service Engineer with a mechanical or electrical background who wants full internal training and clear progression to a fully‑fledged Service Engineer. The company provides specialist repair and maintenance services to commercial clients and invests heavily in employee training, modern equipment and long‑term growth.

Key responsibilities

• Cover a local patch across the South East, installing, servicing, maintaining and repairing vacuum packaging machinery and tabletop slicers at customer sites.
• Work in the workshop to repair, refurbish and troubleshoot food production equipment, providing effective solutions to customers.
• Participate in on‑call rota (1‑in‑5) and adhere to a Monday‑to‑Friday 7 am‑4 pm schedule.

Required profile

• Junior or trainee level with a mechanical or electrical background (e.g., HNC, HND or NVQ).
• Motivation to progress into a Multi‑Skilled Engineer role within a growing company.
