Junior Sommelier

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Junior Sommelier to join the wine team at Pavyllon, the Michelin‑starred restaurant within Four Seasons Hotel London at Park Lane. In this role you will support the sommelier team in delivering a memorable wine experience for guests in a luxury, high‑end dining environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the sommelier team during lunch and dinner service to ensure seamless wine service.
• Provide wine recommendations that match guest preferences and menu pairings.
• Help maintain and update the wine list in collaboration with the Head Sommelier.
• Participate in training sessions to deepen wine knowledge across the restaurant.
• Monitor proper storage, stock rotation, and assist with inventory control.
• Engage with guests confidently, sharing a developing passion for wine.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a wine‑focused role within fine dining or luxury hospitality.
• Developing understanding of international wines and food pairings.
• Positive attitude with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Genuine passion for hospitality and guest experience.
• Eagerness to learn and grow within the sommelier profession.

Required skills

• WSET Level 2 certification (or equivalent).
