Junior Sous Chef

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Sous Chef to join the kitchen team at Banyers House. Working closely with the Head Chef, you will help deliver high‑quality dishes and ensure a memorable dining experience for our guests.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Head Chef in planning and preparing menu items.
• Lead kitchen operations during service, ensuring food quality, presentation and safety.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and food safety throughout the kitchen.
• Support the development of new dishes and seasonal menus.
• Help manage stock levels and coordinate with suppliers.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a restaurant, gastro‑pub or hotel kitchen at junior sous, sous or kitchen manager level.
• Positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively with the Head Chef and the wider team.
• Strong commitment to delivering excellent food and service.
