About the role

The Knot Inn, a countryside pub near Rudyard Lake, is looking for a Junior Sous Chef to create fresh, high‑quality dishes using local produce. You will work in a modern kitchen and help deliver the pub’s celebrated food experience.

Key responsibilities

Prepare dishes from scratch, ensuring consistent quality and presentation.
Collaborate with the kitchen team to deliver seamless service.
Maintain strict hygiene and safety standards in the kitchen.
Contribute ideas for menu development and weekly specials.

Required profile

Genuine passion for cooking with local ingredients.
Proven experience in a high‑quality pub or gastro‑pub environment.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a cohesive team.
