Junior Sous Chef

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Junior Sous Chef to join the kitchen team at the President Hotel in Bloomsbury, London. Working closely with the Sous Chef and Head Chef, you will help deliver high‑quality dishes that reflect the hotel’s culinary standards and create a memorable dining experience for guests.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Sous Chef and Head Chef in daily kitchen operations and service delivery.
• Prepare ingredients, equipment and stations ahead of service to ensure smooth workflow.
• Supervise and guide kitchen staff, including Chef de Partie, Commis Chefs and kitchen porters.
• Support training, coaching and motivation of junior team members.
• Maintain food safety, hygiene and allergen documentation.
• Manage stock levels, control supplies and minimise waste.
